Indoor/ outdoor breathing tip: lengthen your inhale & exhales. Start by counting how long each inhale and exhale are. Adjust posture by drawing shoulders back slightly, top of head reaches up. Then add a breath to each inhale/exhale, taking your time to full expand on the inhale and let go on the exhale. Have kids count breaths using their fingers- at the least, it’ll teach them how to connect with breath, on the plus side, how to calm themselves down using their own breath!
